About the Qualifications

Fork lifts are a particularly useful item of equipment providing potentially substantial savings in time and effort required to load, unload and stack materials. They can make a major contribution to the logistics of storage and usage of space. They do however require to be operated with great care – in untrained hands they can present a major hazard. The use of fork lifts requires competent operators.

Candidates for this Award must be sixteen years of age or more.
